Marjorie Drees

Marjorie studied Dutch law at Groningen University and completed the Togamaster with majors in Criminal Law and Civil Law in 2020. She also studied Law at Florida State University in Tallahassee (United States) for six months.

After her studies, Marjorie worked at the Public Prosecutor’s Office for Serious Fraud, Environmental Crime and Asset Confiscation (Functioneel Parket) for almost four years. Here she dealt with large, complex, (inter)national investigations into (among others) sanctions law violations, corruption, money laundering and occupa-tional accidents. Through her experience, she has excellent knowledge of financial-economic criminal law and knows the working methods of the Public Prosecution Service and investigation services such as the Fiscal Information and Investigation Service (FIOD) and the Netherlands Labour Authority (NLA). This enables her to pro-vide clients with practical and strategic advice.

Marjorie is described as open, dedicated and driven. She is able to simplify complex issues and get to the heart of the matter quickly. She values high quality.
