Léon is one of the speakers during the conference on Criminal Investigation, Enforcement & Prosecution of Bankruptcy Fraud.

This conference focuses on bankruptcy offenses. Through the lens of the Revision of the Criminalization of Bankruptcy Fraud Act, various aspects of enforcing bankruptcy offenses are explored, addressing both substantive and procedural issues. Additionally, the applicable bankruptcy law regulations and their relationship to criminal norms will be discussed. The conference will cover perspectives from both defense (criminal defense attorneys) and the Public Prosecution Service. Topics include the tools provided by the new legislation for investigation, potential defense strategies, viable defenses in such criminal cases, and possible and desirable litigation strategies. There will also be a discussion on the public law responsibility of the trustee, with a special focus on environmental offenses in administrative and criminal law.
