Pro Bono Publico
Since the establishment of the firm in 1976, Wladimiroff has been actively involved in relevant developments in the field of sanctions law. Some of these developments have been influenced by cases handled by Wladimiroff.
In situations where an individual lacks the means to pursue a legal proceedings, Wladimiroff may, through its Pro Bono Publico initiative, choose to provide assistance if the matter is deemed significantly relevant to the administration of justice or in the interest of justice. The assessment of such matters is made by the Pro Bono Publico team.
Examples include cases arising from new developments in sanctions law or criminal law more broadly. Cassation procedures, in particular, contribute significantly to legal development.
Wladimiroff, with its cassation desk, has a dedicated and highly knowledgeable team to submit appeals to the Supreme Court in criminal and tax cassation cases that are relevant. Some international procedures, such as those before the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg or other international judicial bodies, may also qualify.
If you wish to submit a case to the Pro Bono Publico team, please send an email with a brief description of the matter.
