The Working Conditions Act (Arbowet) contains general provisions for employers and employees regarding rights and obligations concerning a safe and healthy work enviroment. For companies working extensively with hazardous substances, the Major Accidents Hazards Decree (Brzo) applies. In this context, both administrative and criminal enforcement are possible.
