Thanks to his past in the police force, Jorgen is pragmatic and acts decisively. These qualities, combined with his extensive legal knowledge and creative approach, enable him to thoroughly analyse a case and provide accurate defence. Clients describe him as sharp-witted, friendly, and, when necessary, assertive.
Jorgen served as a police officer for twelve and a half years and is a member of the National Police’s panel of defence lawyers. Drawing on this first hand operational experience, he regularly provides expert, specialised legal assistance to police and investigative officers at every stage of fact finding and criminal investigations into the use of force: during interviews by Internal Investigations (VIK) and the National Criminal Investigation Department (Rijksrecherche), in hearings before the specialised court, the Blue Chamber (Blauwe Kamer), and in Article 12 Sv. complaint proceedings.
Jorgen is a member of the Dutch Association for Young Criminal Defense Lawyers and the European Criminal Bar Association (ECBA).
