Justien’s added value
Justien was born and raised in Ghent, Belgium, and studied criminal law in Leiden, where she completed her Master’s degree in Criminal Law cum laude. During her stud-ies, she worked as a research assistant. She went on to complete a second Master’s de-gree in International and Transnational Criminal Law at the University of Amsterdam and obtained a degree in Legal Studies from the University of Oxford. Equipped with this broad academic foundation, she completed internships at Dutch and Detained and the law firm Nauta Dutilh before joining Summit Advocaten as a criminal defence lawyer on 1 January 2024. As of 1 October 2025, she has been part of Wladimiroff Advocaten.
Justien thrives on legally complex cases in which she can fully immerse herself. At the same time, she distinguishes herself in smaller – less intricate – cases through her strong substantive knowledge and analytical skills. She is highly driven and eager to achieve the best possible outcome for each client. At the same time, Justien is ap-proachable and down to earth.
Justien provides legal assistance in both general criminal cases and white-collar crime.
She is fluent in Dutch, English, and French.
