The added value of Meie van der Steeg
Meie obtained her Master’s degree in Criminal Law from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, graduating cum laude. During her studies, she specialised in substantive and procedural criminal law, developing strong analytical skills and a particular interest in economic and financial crime. She subsequently completed a Master’s degree in European Law at the College of Europe (Bruges, Belgium). This European specialisation enables her to approach criminal law matters from a broader, international perspective.
Since May 2026, Meie has been working as a paralegal at Wladimiroff. She assists the firm’s lawyers in analysing case files and developing legal strategies in both general criminal matters and fraud cases. With her meticulous approach, perseverance and substantive legal knowledge, Meie possesses the qualities required to make a valuable contribution to the defence of clients. She is driven to achieve the best possible outcome in every case, while remaining approachable and collaborative in her work with colleagues.
